From A to Z in 2012 'B'

From A to Z in 2012

Poetry, of course, is generated from every aspect of life. I recall picking up Linda Lovelace's book ‘Ordeal’ at a garage sale. It was a very interesting read and a heartbreaking story. Back in the day, the sex industry was rampant by the port authority on 42nd Street. Many the young runaway would wind up in the hands of the pimp for exploitation.

With those thoughts in mind, I present the letter 'b'

Bad Girl (Loosely Dedicated to Linda Lovelace and all the refugees of 42nd Street)

By John Kaniecki

Bad girl
Mad girl
Sad girl
Girl on the movie screen
Doing the obscene
Faking an orgasmic scream
In stereo sound
Tattoos to be found
All around
Like to take her home
Or in a hotel room
Get her all alone
Boom, boom, boom
Have your way of delight
All day and all night
Then push her out the door
You dirty whore
Until you need another treat
And she needs food to eat
Push her out once more
You bad, bad whore
One day she’ll rock your world
Show a mirror to your soul
You ain’t an eighth let alone a whole
Bad girl
