My Final Kiss Goodbye

My Final Kiss Goodbye

I am sailing on the sea

I am soaring through the sky

I am searching for what will be

I am wondering the reason why

Yesterday has passed with a sigh

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

Today is sadness today I cry

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

Poets dream they cry out in rhyme

Love is grand but death is a crime

I am a traveler and I travel alone

You were the best thing I’d known

Yesterday has passed with a sigh

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

Today is sadness today I cry

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

When I wake up in the morning the bed is empty

When I journey through the day you are with me

I cannot escape this sadness I fight the tears

This world is insane madness I live with fears

I am sailing on the sea

I am soaring through the sky

I am searching for what will be

I am wondering the reason why

Yesterday has passed with a sigh

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

Today is sadness today I cry

I gave you my final kiss goodbye

Fake Or Fate

 Fake Or Fate

I made love to you a million times inside my mind

Like a master thief full of crimes robbing you blind

I give to you to the point that you can longer take

And then I say amen and it’s all gone when I wake

Is it fake or fate maybe something more

Is it fake or fate tell me who’s keeping score

Is it fake or fate only the gods can say

Is it fake or fate won’t you come to stay

Celestial angel burning like a super nova

I imagine in grim sin I’m your Casanova

Soaring in heaven the flour full of leaven burns

Empty arms transgressions never forgiven the heart yearns

Is it fake or fate maybe something more

Is it fake or fate tell me who’s keeping score

Is it fake or fate only the gods can say

Is it fake or fate won’t you come to stay

I smile broadly at you I’m a distance far away

I’ll talk to you today is what I always say

You are the definition of beauty and so much more

I’ve got a lonely heart baby you’re the only cure

Is it fake or fate maybe something more

Is it fake or fate tell me who’s keeping score

Is it fake or fate only the gods can say

Is it fake or fate won’t you come to stay

My therapist tells me that I need to try to do something new

What would the shrink think if I gave him just a clue

Freud destroyed psychology from its very birth

Come to me cum with me I’ll prove to you my worth

I am that passing shadow lingering by the door

I’m the wild gigolo don’t you know I want to score

Time to turn to face your face life or the coffin

Excuse my young lady but do you come here often?

Is it fake or fate maybe something more

Is it fake or fate tell me who’s keeping score

Is it fake or fate only the gods can say

Is it fake or fate won’t you come to stay

Beyond the Rainbow Song 16

Beyond the Rainbow  Song 16

What does it mean my friend

Death is it really the end

I really don’t know

But I think

Something’s beyond the rainbow

We buried Sticks today

He’s gone down my daddy’s way

One day it’ll be my turn

Perhaps the answer I’ll learn

What does it mean my friend

Death is it really the end

I really don’t know

But I think

Something’s beyond the rainbow

Ashes to ashes dust to dust

What doesn’t burn is gonna rust

I don’t wanna rest in peace

May the Music never cease

What does it mean my friend

Death is it really the end

I really don’t know

But I think

Something’s beyond the rainbow

Yellow

 Yellow

Headed out west until concrete became dirt

Words of the best poets confessed my same hurt

The radio played a song I didn’t know

When love is laid strong it’s hard to let go

She was a blonde naturally dyed

With a golden cross crucified

Yellow is the color of the stars

Yellow is melody of my guitars

I saw the sun set on the deep blue ocean

Judgment is done while we keep true emotion

Seagulls’ song so strong over the crashing waves

To whatever we serve we become slaves

She was a blonde naturally dyed

With a golden cross crucified

Yellow is the color of the stars

Yellow is melody of my guitars

I sought redemption in a lab making meth

For a formidable fee we dealt double death

I found religion while at a garage sale

If you never try well then you never fail

Checking out the checkout girl I was wrong

I offered salvation in the form of song

The witch queen of the dream had a crystal ball

You only want nothing when you got it all

She was a blonde naturally dyed

With a golden cross crucified

Yellow is the color of the stars

Yellow is melody of my guitars

I recall how I held you in the cold night

There is something deeper beyond wrong and right

Mysteries and wonders why did I let you go?

You were everything you were my yellow

She was a blonde naturally died

With a golden cross crucified

Yellow is the color of the stars

Yellow is melody of my guitars

Cheating In Nevada

 Cheating In Nevada

In Nevada with hot desert sands

There's a law everyone understands

It's an unrighteous, ungodly sin

The house always has to win

Now take heed as I mention

The Democratic convention

When the wheel was still in turn

The delegates came to learn

A premature choice had been made

Despite the people's voices being raised

Yelling, screaming, calling shame

Unfair, injustice, we proclaim

See the establishment, lie, cheat and steal

From the bottom of the deck they deal

And to make all protest cease

They called out the police

What happened to our democracy?

Are we headed towards Nazi Germany?

Now people we got ourselves a mission

A political exhibition

A righteous revolution

A permanent solution

In November express your concern

Vote so all will feel the Bern

I Once Was a Fascist

 I Once Was a Fascist

I once was a fascist

And thought I was supreme

I was presented an eternal quest

Called the American dream

I was instructed to prosper and succeed

That accomplishment was to satisfy one’s greed

That money brought eternal bliss

Wealth was something not to miss

America too was noble and grand

Far superior to any land

We never lost in war we were far too strong

And we were always right incapable of wrong

From kindergarten on I saluted the flag

And of all of our glory I would boast and brag

Then observation testified I learned a lie

Irrefutable evidence came I could not deny

And inner torment raged in my brain

The agony surged and I went insane

I once was a fascist

But that man no longer does exist

He is dead, nailed to a tree

I once was a fascist but now I am free

Peace in the Madness

 Peace in the Madness

I hear them first. Their roar peeks my interest and my eyes are redirected to the murky skies. I look at them with a casual spirit relieved it is only a passing passenger jet. It is not so in foreign countries diverse where fiery fury is rained down from above. I hear one or two more as I pen this very sentence. There are no bombs falling from the sky on the streets of America. Meanwhile in the shadowy corners of the hood a police officer guns down some victim on a daily basis. I hear another roar and speculate that this jet is flying at lower altitude base upon the volume of the annoyance. It is however only a momentary bother. My sad thoughts turn to Gaza and their pathetic condition. It is reminiscent of our Native American reservations. Powerless men subjugated as cattle awaiting a moment when the slaughter commences once more. Death will be dealt in the bleak anonymous delivery. I boldly declare any indiscriminate slaughter madness of the supreme degree. In an alleged war on terror one side fights with crude improvised weapons while the other uses sophisticated devices of destruction. But the real battle is for the minds of the masses for therein lies the underlying fundamental power. So I press on writing these subversive words. Know full well my intent is a better Earth for all to share. The organized violence called war must be eliminated. Furthermore it must be replaced by peace and not a tranquility from subjugation. “Weapons with peace is no peace,” spoke Lynette Squeaky Fromme. Even when the devil speaks the truth we must acknowledge the correctness in it. I hear more traffic clouding the heaven’s heights. When o when shall I know peace?

True Love’s Call

 True Love’s Call

I hear at night my true love call

I know not any more precious sound

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

My beauty, my soul, my passion, my all

I look to you for in you I’m found

I hear at night my true love call

I beg of you a kiss if but small

Let me help you to where you are bound

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

You are a dream so fondly I recall

I perceive a whisper I chase round and round

I hear at night my true love call

Heaven without you stands not so tall

The essence of love now walks the ground

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

On the cross for water they gave you gall

Why have you forsaken me, the words resound

I hear at night my true love call

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

No Cause for Alarm

No Cause for Alarm

I always detested you

A freak by choice

Your spiked hair

And leather jacket

Picturing the Statue of Liberty

Submerged in water

As if drowning

Baring the words

That entitle this poem

I did not detest your rebellion

It intrigued me

Tantalized me

Rather how you would

Cynically mock me

For behaving

Following the rules

And I have come

To the conclusion

That you were right

Now I see

Your picture on Facebook

Your head is shaved

And a M 16

Is raised aimed to kill

And worst of all

You are not joking

I detest you still

But I have learned

An art to survival

Compassion

And so unto you

Whom I will conceal

I send you this

Love Letter

P.S.

I am straight

So there is

No Cause for Alarm

Hey Tamron

Hey Tamron

By John Kaniecki

Hey there sweet baby girl

Precious black pearl

Woman of the world

Elegant lady of style

Give me a precious smile

Let’s talk and laugh a while

Blow the silver trumpets

Let the sacred flag be unfurled

Our banner of freedom flapping in the breeze

Love will put your mind at ease

For our Father

The maker of our soul

Keeps complete control

Understand

He holds the universe in His hand

Can you comprehend

He calls you friend

So in word and deed

Be a friend indeed

Jesus went to the cross

So that not one would be lost

Day after day after day

Trust and obey

No matter how grim things become

God’s will shall be done!

I was Eve the mother of creation

I was the first nation

In almost forgotten days of old

My people discovered secrets untold

I was a Pharoah with a grand pyramid as a grave

I was a humble galley slave

I marched with Hannibal to Rome

I was a wiseman my name now unknown

I was Cleopatra on her golden throne

I was sent to toil in a harsh wicked land

I made a rebel stand

I had dignity in the face of hatred

I was sacred

I fought the good fight

I made a stand for what was right

I am the Creator’s delight

Tomorrow an angel of light

Black clouds drawing near

I refuse to give in to fear

I’ve been fighting all my life

I’m no stranger to strife

We’re still singing We Shall Overcome

For the work isn’t done

Until we are all free

And live decently

So let evil come and spit in my face

I shall conquer with Grace

Oh, wizards wicked and cruel

Who seek to conquer and rule

Don’t count me as a fool

Because I believe in the golden rule

Right is right

And wrong is wrong

I shall sing my song of delight

I am strong

You shall see

Hope gives me the victory

It is already won!

Tamron Hall, I hope you like my little song

For you see

I like my woman as my coffee

Hot, black and strong!

Poems In The Night

 Poems In The Night

Woke up this morning I decided to change the world

I picked me a red rose and gave it to my girl

She smiled when I said you’re my valentine

But they’re still dropping bombs in Palestine

Here I am writing poems in the night

It’s a silly way to fight the fight

Maybe words can set the world right

Here I am writing poems in the night

Went downtown to watch the shoppers shop

The were in a frenzy spending money non stop

I did my best and I managed to keep my smile

Oh the silly things you do to stay in style

Here I am writing poems in the night

It’s a silly way to fight the fight

Maybe words can set the world right

Here I am writing poems in the night

I went to the meeting but I wasn’t allowed to speak

I found the door after I turned my other cheek

The sign on the door said Uncle Sam wants you

I was wondering what’s a poor boy to do

Here I am writing poems in the night

It’s a silly way to fight the fight

Maybe words can set the world right

Here I am writing poems in the night

The American dream means that you are sleeping

In the hood in the third world mothers are weeping

Bread and butter are losing to wars without end

Bow down to the bull of Baal be our friend

In Red Onion prison they set themselves on fire

Peace love and understanding they’re my desire

They’ve killed all our leaders or bought them out

Forgive me God I believe but I got my doubts

Here I am writing poems in the night

It’s a silly way to fight the fight

Maybe words can set the world right

Here I am writing poems in the night

There Must Be Another Way

 There Must Be Another Way

Well nine to five are you really alive

I wish the dinosaurs had survived

I’d get a T Rex to devour my boss

That wouldn’t be a terrible loss

I wake up in the morning every day

There must be another way

I echo the words the poet’s say

There must be another way

Izzy the spaceman was in a dizzy mood

I’d like to do planet Earth some good

Nuclear fusion would help them in their toil

But all the leaders control by oil

I wake up in the morning every day

There must be another way

I echo the words the poet’s say

There must be another way

I remember Adam Bomb he wasn’t really that cool

Just another face in the yearbook back from high school

Sorry to say the other day Adam went to meet the Lord

Why is it we never think hell’s the eternal reward?

I read the Bible can you say it again?

From Genesis one to Revelation’s amen

Straight and narrow is the path we must find

All others they’re the blind following the blind

I wake up in the morning every day

There must be another way

I echo the words the poet’s say

There must be another way

There is a cross an emblem of dark doom

Death is like fire they both consume

The grave is empty it’s not a lie

The grave is empty and love’s the reason why

I wake up in the morning every day

There must be another way

I echo the words the poet’s say

There must be another way

Seventh Heaven

 Seventh Heaven

Thinking back Jack you were beyond wise

Love is a force the source over all lies

What you saw in me I truly don’t know

But life keeps on and I gave it a go

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

We’ll be in the seventh heaven things don’t get better

In the seventh heaven there’s always fair weather

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

From Genesis to Revelation’s Amen

You’re in the Spirt brother say it again

I was a crazy boy tripping on stardust

Hitchhiking with a sign heaven or bust

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

We’ll be in the seventh heaven things don’t get better

In the seventh heaven there’s always fair weather

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

I was a world away when you went to glory

A man of mystery Jack that was your story

There was a secret like a sin forgiven

We had the secret of the seventh heaven

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

We’ll be in the seventh heaven things don’t get better

In the seventh heaven there’s always fair weather

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

You have to taste some hell just to get it out of your system

When it comes right down to it there’s two kinds of wisdom

You can live for today and the pleasures this world holds

Or you can carry your cross and go where the streets are gold

Dancing with the angels on cloud nine

Sipping the sweet sacred divine wine

Forever well that’s a mighty long time

Where music’s happy and all words rhyme

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together

We’ll be in the seventh heaven things don’t get better

In the seventh heaven there’s always fair weather

We’ll be in the seventh heaven laughing together
