Jesus In A Plastic Bottle

Jesus In A Plastic Bottle

I love Amerikkka it’s the land of the free

Never mind genocide and chattel slavery

God is smiling giving us two big thumbs up

Hey darling get beer it’s time to fill the cup

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

With a little Plato and Aristotle

Put the spaceship full throttle

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

Remember that Jesus turned water into wine

So Saturday night drinking is simply divine

Thou shall not kill that means abortion is wrong

War and the death penalty’s a different song

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

With a little Plato and Aristotle

Put the spaceship full throttle

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

The good reverend speaks to God one on one

He’s downstairs with the choir girls having some fun

Them priests like the chief seats at the feasts for sure

Here come the altar boys I bet they’re gonna score

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

With a little Plato and Aristotle

Put the spaceship full throttle

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

I read the Bible and tore out all the passages that weren’t right

Don’t judge me but I’ll be telling you your sins with delight

Let’s hate everybody who’s got the mark of Cain

Love your enemy that sounds like your totally insane

God bless the poor souls but keep them in the hood

I may not be a perfect ten but still I’m good

Accept Jesus into your heart say that prayer

Then you can sin time and time again without care

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

With a little Plato and Aristotle

Put the spaceship full throttle

I’ll have Jesus in a plastic bottle

Chancellor Avenue

Chancellor Avenue

The stars don't frequent

Chancellor Avenue

But on the odd chance

That they do

It won't be cause

They are flaunting the laws

And counting the cost

No they would be

Simply

Lost

In the White House

They have celebrities galore

Every day on the plate

They got some more

Phony and fake

As the politician's smiling promise

So why the great divide?

We're all equal

Huh

When they need cannon fodder

Brave patriots

To kill and die

They'll flood Chancellor Avenue

With an impeccable lie

But let me get you some related news

About Chancellor Avenue

You can get the best of the best

To be your honorary guest

No matter who

We'll out do you in the blues

It's true

On Chancellor Avenue

Finding Peace

 Finding Peace

I read the articles of confederation

And the Bible all about salvation

But words on paper failed my cause

For man is not bound by laws

The generals gave me quite an alarm

His job was causing others harm

I refused even to give a simple salute

I’ve rejected the entire institute

At every juncture I took a turn

Lies and deceit lessons to learn

Meeker and weaker from my tries

I began to peel away at the disguise

The monster underneath grew clearer

In horror I discovered a mirror

‘Peace on Earth’ such a lofty goal

And I a child with a bitter soul

So I surrendered my frown for a smile

I escaped from the demon of denial

I said peace isn’t something you find

Peace is really a state of mind

There is only one way to start

And that is to put love in your heart

So I set off in Mother Earth with seeds to sow

To everyone I gave a friendly ‘hello’

Listen to this truth I say

Small things they go a long way

I dream of the bombs becoming obsolete

I dream of a world without victory of defeat

But the mountain of hatred is far too immense

And the insanity never made any sense

So I changed those things that I could

To everyone and all I did good

Then and there I had my release

This is my lesson in finding peace

Driving All Night

Driving All Night

Woman you mean the world to me and more

I know I’ve never said those words before

Just like I never said “I love you”

But woman I really do love you

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

Oh Lord baby I can’t get nothing right

I’m a dirty old dog whose been chasing a bone

I lived a whole lifetime on my own

But you and me we made ourselves a home

It’s the only home I’ve ever known

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

Oh Lord baby I can’t get nothing right

So when you said goodbye what could I say

I cried when you said you were going away

I’m out on the road searching for you

It’s the only thing that I could do

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

Oh Lord baby I can’t get nothing right

Woman you mean the world to me and more

I know I’ve never said those words before

Just like I never said “I love you”

But woman I really do love you

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

I’ve been driving all night

Oh Lord baby I can’t get nothing right

Chaos That Is Life

Chaos That Is Life

A trillion quadrillion quantum infinitely pure

Respect the Googleplex

Bow down genuflect

Dancing quarks superbly agitated

What was will be once more

And thus, the universe created

In the absolute anarchy

Somehow one and one became three

And what we know as reality

Came to be

Physics fails

Randomness prevails

Go fill your sail

With the soft winds of a gale

Search for Atlantis

Search for the land of the free

It matters not as long as you are with me

So, slip on my lips a gentle kiss

Together husband and wife

In this chaos that is life

Falling off the edge of the Earth

To the realm where the gods were given birth

The Last Rhino

The Last Rhino

His eye is on the sparrow

Your song says that is so

Your Creator He created me

I was born

                Born to be free

Like the lions who hunt pray

Like the monkeys who jestingly play

Like the ants who march in line

Like zebras running so fine

Adam he was your first

I have known your worst

They have slain me in scorn

My body desecrated

My spirit hated

Their prize---my horn

What shall they do with it?

That cost my life to forfeit

Hang it as a trophy upon their wall

To tell glamorous stories to recall

How in an utmost cowardly act

They shot a gun from behind my back

I am animal yes it is true

Far different we are from you

True we kill, some of us to feast

But you, you are the beast

On Africa’s fields I lay rotting dead

As assassins bullet inside my head

His eye is on the sparrow

I know that is so

He enjoys their song in morn

It was the reason they were born

In me too He had His delight

I too was precious in his sight

Once our herds were without number

Now in death, extinct we slumber

I of all creatures would surely know

For you see I am the last rhino

Hear my words let them not be vain

Humanity is captive by those insane

Hear my words as softly I explain

Your job it was to tend the garden

But greed your heart it did harden

Take your prize that you lusted for

A notch on your belt, another score

And I, I am no more

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth

A horn for a horn

In fire creation it shall die to be born

On that day you shall weep, wail and mourn

Feel the horror of your wicked woe

These words are true they are so

Spoken by the last rhino

Song of My Heart

 Song of My Heart

I’m searching for the right words to say

To make it all okay

Could you lend me your ear in the cool autumn breeze?

It would put my mind at ease

I can’t remember the words that I wrote

So take what you value and leave what you don’t

Let the music do its part

Then you’ll understand the song of my heart

Spent the night haunted by confused memories

Churned by a twisted history

Different players in an identical game

But the song remains the same

I can’t remember the words that I wrote

So take what you value and leave what you don’t

Let the music do its part

Then you’ll understand the song of my heart

In a deep dark valley with a cool running stream

I see a princess in a dream

I’m feeling the rapture I’m sensing the bliss

I will be free with your passionate kiss

I can’t remember the words that I wrote

So take what you value and leave what you don’t

Let the music do its part

Then you’ll understand the song of my heart

My thoughts turn to the memories of the days that we spent

Living off of the love that we lent

If you take the love I give I’m sure you will see

The truth is you’re just like me (X3)

I can’t remember the words that I wrote

So take what you value and leave what you don’t

Let the music do its part

Then you’ll understand the song of my heart

You know you’re just like me

You’re just like me

Girl you’re just like me

Jitterbugging With Jezebel

 Jitterbugging With Jezebel

One two three four

Dancing sweetly on the floor

Take you partner twist her round

Hold her tightly on the ground

One two three four

Soldiers marching off to war

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

Cinderella riding your pumpkin coach

And shoes that snugly fit

Fairy tail propaganda

Counterfeit

Insatiable - psychotic politicians pondering power

Starvation - junkyard dog gnawing at a tin can

Desperation -  gruesome wallflower lusting for a prom date

Longing for more ---

One two three four

Soldiers marching off to war

Wait they've used that line before

Say hey whispers Uncle Sam

Don't you know who I Am?

I'm the red, white and blue

Got stars in my eyes too

and I WANT YOU!

There was a man so mild and meek

Who taught us love and to turn the cheek

In his name they love to speak

The sky is gray and the future bleak

One two three four

Bankers divvying up the score

Poetry has become irrelevant

Says the preacher quoting psalms

God has become irrelevant

Mocks mammon making bombs

One two three four

Down in the Hood

 Down in the Hood

The ghetto is now called the hood

To Edgar it is a place no good

The train travels on through

On it’s way to the City

From the window an excellent view

None too pretty

Garbage and graffiti he does note

“Unpleasant” his word to quote

Edgar is a racist

One of the elite

Law and order I insist

Law and order on the street

Edgar reads the news

It tells of the high murder rate

Let ‘em all sing the blues

His thoughts of vicious hate

In college he learned of Darwin

And the history of the human race

Edgar thinks it’s not a sin

To be of the superior race

But Edgar has a secret most grim

Never dared to tell another soul

The sisters really attract him

Almost make him lose control

His pale wife

Is plain, frigid and cold

Far past her prime

Proper and old

But these large ladies how they strut

Tight blue jeans with a bursting but

Large breasted women savagely wild

How his heart beats with thunder

A contradiction unable to be reconciled

Why it is, a mystery of great wonder

True Love’s Call

True Love’s Call

I hear at night my true love call

I know not any more precious sound

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

My beauty, my soul, my passion, my all

I look to you for in you I’m found

I hear at night my true love call

I beg of you a kiss if but small

Let me help you to where you are bound

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

You are a dream so fondly I recall

I perceive a whisper I chase round and round

I hear at night my true love call

Heaven without you stands not so tall

The essence of love now walks the ground

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

On the cross for water they gave you gall

Why have you forsaken me, the words resound

I hear at night my true love call

The sweetest of angels sometimes fall

Return to Tintern Abbey Again

Return to Tintern Abbey Again

Misconception in a dream

I notice not a true rhyme

But to me it did seem

A place from another time

I never saw a city in decay

As an old man fading away

Though nature is exquisite

There is far more to it

Why worship the created

While the maker is hated

Yet let me not travel that way

I’ll guard the words I say

For I come not to judge you

Just to say I’ve been there too

With you I sit under the tree

In spirit I feel your glee

Thank God you were not blind

Thank God that He is kind

For what in nature you see

Is but one facet of beauty

Oh master poet long dead

Some worship the words you said

I realize it was not meant so

Each has a separate way to go

To unlock what is within

That is how to begin

For each one is unique

With their own voice to speak

At Tintern Abbey we did meet

As comrades in battle’s heat

The words you have once said

Your cause I have deserted

At Tintern Abbey may you forever rest

For at Tintern Abbey it was your best

At Tintern Abbey you did discover

That nature she is your brother

It may be unnatural your view

But I see it also too

More strange then a circus freak

More beauty then we can speak

In wilderness perfection we find

Yet this perfection is so unkind

Spring the coming of life

Summer celebration of the living

Fall it cuts as a knife

Winter it is so unforgiving

The circle it is then whole

On the circle travels your soul

Past, future, present

Still your life is spent

Your travel nowhere fast

I pray your nowhere to last

So farewell my good friend

At Tintern Abbey we’ll meet once again

POLISHED FRAGMENTS

Hey Tamron

Hey Tamron

By John Kaniecki

Hey there sweet baby girl

Precious black pearl

Woman of the world

Elegant lady of style

Give me a precious smile

Let’s talk and laugh a while

Blow the silver trumpets

Let the sacred flag be unfurled

Our banner of freedom flapping in the breeze

Love will put your mind at ease

For our Father

The maker of our soul

Keeps complete control

Understand

He holds the universe in His hand

Can you comprehend

He calls you friend

So in word and deed

Be a friend indeed

Jesus went to the cross

So that not one would be lost

Day after day after day

Trust and obey

No matter how grim things become

God’s will shall be done!

I was Eve the mother of creation

I was the first nation

In almost forgotten days of old

My people discovered secrets untold

I was a Pharoah with a grand pyramid as a grave

I was a humble galley slave

I marched with Hannibal to Rome

I was a wiseman my name now unknown

I was Cleopatra on her golden throne

I was sent to toil in a harsh wicked land

I made a rebel stand

I had dignity in the face of hatred

I was sacred

I fought the good fight

I made a stand for what was right

I am the Creator’s delight

Tomorrow an angel of light

Black clouds drawing near

I refuse to give in to fear

I’ve been fighting all my life

I’m no stranger to strife

We’re still singing We Shall Overcome

For the work isn’t done

Until we are all free

And live decently

So let evil come and spit in my face

I shall conquer with Grace

Oh, wizards wicked and cruel

Who seek to conquer and rule

Don’t count me as a fool

Because I believe in the golden rule

Right is right

And wrong is wrong

I shall sing my song of delight

I am strong

You shall see

Hope gives me the victory

It is already won!

Tamron Hall, I hope you like my little song

For you see

I like my woman as my coffee

Hot, black and strong!
