To Take Flight
by Jaden Trask
The plane shudders,
Soaring through the clouds so high up,
It’s hard to comprehend.
Some are shrouded in ignorance,
Oblivious
To the numerous possibilities of failure.
The ways in which the flight
Might have an early end so,
Instead
They see a three-hour long blur
full of sapphire skies,
And feathery clouds,
And a quarter of the moon.
