Hope

My silent prayer

A second try

Tender care

Refusing to die

On goes the fight

Through the deep dark night

All hope is gone

But keep wishing on

The dawn

It will bring the light

And make everything right

I am convinced

I refuse to doubt

That despite the present evil

This will work out

Cause hope is a power

Working this hour
It is what motivates

This poem

To never surrender

I am no pretender

I just believe

In the power of Love

And that is above

Everything

So in agony

I sing

In chains

I am free

For despite all sorrow

I believe in a better tomorrow

I cope

By hope
