Everyone pretends they don’t care
No one wants to care about what anyone else thinks.
But like everyone else I do.
Along with everyone else I’m trying to fit in.
Say the right things.
Do the right thing.
Be in the right place.
And wear what everybody else is wearing.
Sometimes I think we’re all trying to be
shadows of each other.
And I don’t want to be.
But I try to be.
Society is all backwards.
But anyways life is positively
great and
wonderful
and exciting.
And I can’t wait to see what’s behind the next corner
and all the corners after that.
