No time
by Tralone Lindiwe Khoza
I have no time for dead
spiders in the water
Can
they move so I can turn the wrinkled page?
I
have no worries about unpaid bills
Fathers
who forgot their seed
Mother
who stand in corners erupting deception and
Spreading
the poisoned grapevine
I hope
the sun will show up so I can get on about my business.
Counting
cotton from the East plantation.
Counting
Euros for dollars and Rands for Pula’s in Sandton
No it
won’t be in the Daily sun
Can we
hurry on the matter?
How I
laugh at myself.
